Problem

The library page search works but has UX gaps:

No search debounce — filters on every keystroke (6,597 items × 3 fields = laggy)
No result highlighting — hard to see why a result matched
No URL state — refreshing loses search/filter state
No keyboard shortcuts — can't Cmd+K to focus search
Tag counts in sidebar don't update when search text is active (fixed for collections but not search)

Improvements:

Debounce — 200ms delay on search input
Highlight — bold the matching substring in title/abstract
URL params — persist ?q=text&collection=KEY&tags=a,b in URL
Keyboard — Cmd+K / Ctrl+K focuses search input
Result count — show match count per tag in sidebar when search is active
Empty state — show helpful message when no results match
