Vector storage on the existing Postgres — no new stateful service.

Scope

  • enable pgvector extension; dedicated llm schema
  • comments + corpus collections (langchain-postgres layout) with metadata columns for docket/rule/year/doctype filters
  • HNSW index; migration script (idempotent, runs at service start or via CLI)
  • confirm pg backups cover the new schema

Acceptance

  • migrations idempotent; filtered similarity query works end-to-end against a seeded row

Done in P33 — merged to main as 14d279b (branch llm-p33). Pilot docket CMS-2017-0092 indexed end-to-end with exact search; full test gate green at 99.75%.
