format.py has no journal article formatter. The 15,458 source items include ~14,000 journal articles from PubMed.

Need:

  • Author(s). Title. Journal Abbrev. Year;Volume(Issue):Pages. doi:DOI
  • Handle 1, 2, 3+ authors correctly
  • Use journal abbreviation when available
  • Include DOI/PMID when present

The Zotero data has all these fields in the EAV schema. bib.sqlite stores them in extra_json for Source items.
